Despite recent winter weather, the award-winning Ford Ka is ready for summer with the launch of the limited edition Sun Collection, priced from £8,560 on-the-road. Based on the popular Ka Collection, the Sun Collection adds a power-operated, full-length folding canvas roof to the already high standard specification including metallic paint, power steering, power windows stereo radio/cassette and leather steering wheel with driver's airbag. Production of the Sun Collection will be limited to around 600, heightening its exclusive appeal. "Ford Ka is all about freedom of expression and fun-to-drive appeal and the popularity of the Ka Collection has shown us how important great looking, individual cars are to these customers", explains Brendan Lyne, Brand Manager for Small Cars, Ford Motor Company Limited. "The Sun Collection adds that extra element if style to the Collection range in time for summer." The Ford Ka continues to be the best-selling car in its class, increasing its sales every year since launch. Over 47,300 Ford Kas were sold last year and almost 160,000 have been bought in the UK since launch. Last month, it was also named What Car? Best Budget Car for the second year running.       |
